Alison completed her architectural training at the Welsh School of Architecture in Cardiff  from 1981  to 1986 qualifying in 1989.  Since then she has worked in London and the Home Counties and has been running her own architectural practice in Amersham, Buckinghamshire since 2001.  She specialises in residential extensions, refurbishments and new build and has had an extensive portfilio of successful projects.

 

Alison's design philosophy focuses on creativity and detail in design, collaboration and communication with a strong personal attention to detail to enable clients to realise their vision.
Alison has a strong sense of proportion in design, rhythm, setting and place.  The importance of arrivng at a sucessful design solution that is practical yet exciting shows in her determination to explore different ideas in discussion with the client in order to achieve a design layout that works well internally and externally.
